How do I join NLA-CFL?

To join us here at NLA-CFL, you should first fill out the application.

You can get a copy in .doc forma by clicking this link, NLA-CFL Membership Application .doc.

Bring the completed application to a meeting (next meeting can be found on our calendar page) along with a check for your membership.

How much does it cost to be a member?

The cost to be a full-privileged member of NLA-CFL is $20 per year. This amount is pro-rated quarterly, so if you are joining in January, February, or March, the amount you would pay for the year is $20. If you are joining in April, May or June, the amount is $15. For new memberships that begin in July, August, or September, send only $10, and those starting their membership in October, November or December, send in $5. Each January, to renew your membership, $20 will be due again, for the entire year.

NLA-CFL also offers a non-voting membership, if you would like to show support but do not wish to be active in the group. This supportive membership is $10 per year. (This membership will not include participation on NLA-CFL's yahoo group.)

You will find all of this information conveniently located on the membership application. Just print it out, fill it all in, and either bring it to a meeting, give it to a member or send it to the post office box at the bottom of the form."

Do I have to join the NLA International?

No you don't. You can join NLA-CFL without being a member of NLA, but why wouldn't you join the NLA? To join the NLA only costs $20 a year and you can register online or at one of our meetings. For your $20, you get a very nice patch and pin for display on your Fetish dress and you become a member of a venerated International Pansexual Leather Organization that supports many charitable organizations as well as helping to look out for your rights to practice your particular kink. You can join online by going here and while you are on their website, consider making a donation to one of their worthy charities while you are there.

SSo what does NLA-CFL do?

Like any chapter of a national organization, we support the aims and projects of our parent organization. You can read about that in their Mission Statement . In plain English, we support the members of our local Fetish/BDSM/Kink community with social opportunities, safety and legal awareness training, and most importantly skills and experience training and opportunity. By having leaders in our local community as well as on a national level made available to our members for regularly scheduled trainings and social opportunities, we all benefit from a safer, healthier, and more enjoyable pursuit of our individual pleasurable or intellectual proclivity.
